EVs a cornerstone of industry change, says Ghosn

During his keynote speech at the 2016 New York International Auto Show, Carlos Ghosn, Chairman and Chief Executive, Renault-Nissan Alliance, described the “rapid emergence of new technologies” at a speed that is “unfamiliar” to the automotive industry. These new technologies have caused a period of “disruption,” and have helped advance megatrends like autonomous driving, connectivity and ride sharing. “Nobody in the industry knows for certain which will become mainstream,” he mused.
