According to figures from the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA), January car sales in the EU rose 6.7% year-on-year to 999,157 units. All of the largest markets enjoyed a positive start to the year, with growth ranging from 2.6% in Germany to 27.5% in Spain.
