COMMENT: Two less-obvious obstacles slowing NG usage growth in US

Interest in natural gas (NG) as an alternative to diesel fuel among truck and bus operators is probably growing faster in North America than anywhere else. All four Class 8 heavy-duty truck manufacturing groups, namely Daimler, Volvo, Paccar and Navistar, are now offering NG-fuelled models, with Cummins’ ISX12G engine so far leading the market.
