It's said with increasing frequency that cars are moving ever closer to consumer electronics in the way of technology - yet many OEMs are still criticised for the technology they offer to their drivers. Many industry critics note that often, the infotainment systems offered by OEMs are too slow, under-developed or come with general usage issues.
Taking into account around 22,000 customer comments and suggestions, Ford has attempted to reinvent its in-car user experience with its updated SYNC 3, the third generation of its connected infotainment platform. SYNC 3 provides an improved consumer experience featuring the ability to seamlessly interact with smartphone apps while driving via Ford’s AppLink.
