Battery EVs: Still driven by regulation

Roughly half of CO2 comes from burning fossil fuels, and CO2 levels in the atmosphere have been continually rising. OEMs and suppliers realise that urgent action is required. Prabhakar Patil, Chief Executive, LG Chem Power Inc, told the Automotive World Megatrends USA conference, “With the inexorability of these issues, we cannot wait for the silver bullet and must move forward with what we have on the table. And what we have on the table is quite good.”
