For AV developers, it’s all about the UX factor

Ambiguous autonomous drive user experiences cause unease behind the wheel. Lextant Chief Executive Chris Rockwell believes this must change for successful AV adoption

A quick review of automotive industry announcements and media coverage makes one thing clear: the real-world deployment of autonomous vehicles is coming much sooner than expected. While a future of only – or mostly – autonomous vehicles is still many years away, ride-sharing services, shuttle services and even personal vehicles with SAE Level 4 autonomous capability will be here soon.
