The year-on-year growth rate for new car sales in Indonesia slowed to 4.2% in August. This was the slowest growth rate recorded by the country's automotive industry since January this year.
According to data compiled by the Association of Indonesian Automotive Manufacturers (Gaikindo), new car sales totalled 76,373 units last month,
