Navistar has announced that it will launch a new powertrain solution to meet EPA 2010 emissions requirements. The OEM is moving away from the exhaust-gas recirculation (EGR) technology it has traditionally used, but which has left it unable to meet environmental standards without resorting to non-conformance penalties (NCPs).
