South Africa: Automotive market expands 23.7% in 2010

A total of 488,927 vehicles were sold in South Africa in 2010, 23.7% more than what the country's automotive industry had managed in 2009 (395,186 units). Full-year sales were boosted by a 31.6% year-on-year improvement in December sales, at 35,475 units.
