Toyota is working with Japan Wind Development Co, Panasonic Electric Works and Hitachi on a smart grid demonstration project in Rokkasho Village, Aomori Prefecture, Japan. The project aims to develop technologies for the most efficient use of energy. It begins this month (September) and will run through July 2012.
