Volkswagen has announced that Ludger Fretzen has been appointed chief executive officer of Volkswagen-Audi Espana, S.A. (Barcelona), effective 1 September 2010. The Spanish company manages the Volkswagen, Audi and Skoda brands in that country. The new chief executive will succeed the retiring Juan Manuel Baselga, who became head of Volkswagen-Audi
