Automotive components manufacturer American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings (AAM) has set up a new plant, the Lancaster Manufacturing Facility, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
The 30,000sq-ft facility, located around 75 miles west of Philadelphia, was launched in January 2010. As volumes warrant, the facility can run as a three-shift, six-day-a-week operation, AAM said.
