Toyota's commercial vehicle subsidiary Hino will, starting mid-2010, produce diesel engines for its locally-built trucks at an engine plant located at its existing truck manufacturing facility at Amata Nakhon, Chon Buri in Thailand.
This move to produce engines locally is aimed at preparing Hino Thailand to export trucks to ASEAN markets,
