Norwegian bus operator Nettbuss has ordered 12 parallel hybrid buses from Volvo for service in Norway, making it the first company in the Nordic region to implement the hybrid technology commercially, according to Volvo. The OEM’s hybrid buses boast improved fuel economy of up to 30%.
