Korean supplier LG Chem has secured a four-year contract to provide lithium-ion batteries to Eaton, reports Korea Times. The batteries will be used for hybrid electric commercial vehicles and deliveries are scheduled to begin in November.
In order to fulfil the order, LG Chem intends to expand capacity at its Michigan
