Renault Chief Executive Luca de Meo announced his shock resignation on 15 June 2025 after five years leading the French automaker's successful turnaround. The Italian boss will now depart the automotive industry entirely to become Chief Executive of luxury conglomerate Kering, owner of the Gucci and Saint Laurent brands.
