LADA Granta Liftback is being produced in Togliatti after the production transfer from Izhevsk. This decision will allow LADA significantly to optimize the production processes through capacities’ additional loading of the Kalina/Granta line at the Togliatti site. It was transferred more than 500 units of welding equipment and tooling from the production site of LADA Izhevsk. In parallel, specialists for the second shift work on Kalina/Granta line were trained and educated in Togliatti. Additional employees from AVTOVAZ’s Industrial Park, as well as from other divisions of the company were engaged due to production expansion.
It is to recap, that LADA Granta LB sales have not been suspended – a necessary stock of this model has been made for a dealership network.

It has been produced here more than 1.5 million cars in totally: Kalina of the first and the second generations, Granta, Datsun.
