Buick Verano becomes latest victim of SUV shift

It doesn't bode well for the sedan segment when even America's most dependable model can't survive the shift to SUVs, writes Megan Lampinen

The continued consumer migration towards SUVs and pick-ups has claimed another victim in the form of the Buick Verano. The model, currently built in Orion, Michigan, will be phased out in North America following a short 2017 model year run ending in October 2016.
