Nissan reported solid growth in many key metrics over the last fiscal year but caution dominates the 2016 forecast. In FY2015 (ended March 2016), Nissan's revenue rose 7.2% year-on-year, with a 34.6% rise in operating income and a 24.2% jump in ordinary income. However, for the current fiscal year, all of these are expected to decline: revenue from ¥12.189tr (US$112bn) to ¥11.800tr, operating income from ¥793bn to ¥710bn and ordinary income from ¥862bn to ¥800bn.
