Russia’s February inflated by low base effect

While Russia's market saw the slowest rate of decline since 2014, February alone isn't an indicator of an underlying recovery, writes Megan Lampinen

Russia's downturn showed signs of moderating in February with a mere 13.4% drop, the slowest rate of decline in 14 months. While it is a welcome change from recent months, analysts caution that it is much too early to celebrate.
