The last year has been a tough one for Indian utility vehicle (UV) manufacturer, Mahindra & Mahindra, which has seen sharp pressure on its sales due to rising competition and severe demand contraction in its domestic market. The company’s model line-up - Scorpio, XUV and Quanto - has faced stiff competition from contemporary, and highly stylised, models like the Renault Duster and Ford EcoSport.
