– Overseas production decreased year-on-year due to improvements in inventory levels and production launch preparations for the all-new Legacy and Outback.

< Japan Sales >

– Japan sales decreased year-on-year as strong sales of the Forester, Impreza series and Stella minicar in the January-March period did not make up for the April-June period decline following the consumption tax hike.

< Exports >

– Exports from Japan increased year-on-year led by strong sales in North America as well as high demand for the Forester in other overseas markets.
