The Volkswagen Group has selected Dürr as a strategic partner in the field of surface technology for its FAST supplier initiative. The newly created initiative is targeted at selected suppliers of the Volkswagen Group and at intensifying the level of exchange and cooperation with them.
FAST is intended to make innovations faster and more efficient to develop for Volkswagen. To this end, the partners are integrated into innovation projects of the Volkswagen Group at an early stage. Volkswagen also plans to cooperate closely with its FAST partners in globalizing its brands.
FAST stands for “Future Automotive Supply Tracks”. Among the participating suppliers, Dürr is the only provider of paint technology. The selection of FAST partners relied for guidance on the innovative power, global strategy and target achievement of suppliers in their past collaboration with Volkswagen.
