Inside Zilina, Kia’s European stronghold

2015 has been a year of milestones for Kia Motors’ Zilina plant in Slovakia, the OEM’s only European production facility. April 2015 saw its two millionth vehicle roll off the line, whilst May 2015 marked the production of its millionth cee’d. 2014 was also a huge year for engine production. Zilina has produced more than two million engines since opening, half a million of which were made in 2014.
