Volvo Cars’ Novo Energy has announced plans to cut 50% of its workforce—or some 150 jobs—following the bankruptcy of its technology partner Northvolt. The decision is part of a wider restructuring of operations while the company continues searching for a new partner and completes the first phase of its Gothenburg factory construction.
