A federal judge has ordered the Trump administration to release billions in electric vehicle charging infrastructure funding to 14 states after ruling the government illegally withheld congressionally-approved money. US District Judge Tana Lin granted a partial preliminary injunction—that is, a temporary pause—finding that the states were likely to succeed in their lawsuit challenging the funding freeze.
