Ford in the safety spotlight as recalls pile up

Ford continues to top the recall charts with nearly 90 separate recalls so far in 2025, more than any automaker in a full-year period. The past few days alone have seen it recall 694,000 vehicles for a fuel injector problem that could cause engine fires and 850,000 vehicles for an issue with the engine that could cause it to stall while driving.
