Daimler recalls 240 Fuso trucks over propeller shaft defect

Daimler’s Australian arm warns that 2023 Fighter and Shogun models have a welding defect that, if left unfixed, could prove dangerous. By Stewart Burnett

Daimler Truck Australia has issued a recall for 240 Fuso Fighter and Shogun trucks manufactured in 2023 due to a potentially dangerous defect during the manufacturing process. The propeller shaft balance plate may not have been welded to required specifications and could therefore detach whilst driving.
