Tony Gioutsos, Director of Sales & Marketing Americas, Tass International has been confirmed as a speaker in the Connected Car stream at Megatrends USA 2015, which takes place on 17 March 2015.
Gioutsos has been involved with Automotive safety systems since 1990. As Director of Electronics R&D for both Takata and Breed Technologies, he was at the forefront of the safety revolution. After receiving his Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, he worked on Satellites and Radar Imaging for defence applications before joining Takata. His work led to a start-up company that was purchased by BREED technologies.
He has been a consultant for various companies in areas such as biomedical applications, gaming software, legal expert advisory, and various automotive systems. Gioutsos is currently Director of Sales and Marketing in the Americas for TASS International. He has been awarded over 20 patents and presented over 20 technical papers.
The Connected Car stream at Automotive Megatrends USA 2015 will seek to identify which technologies and trends will have the most impact on the evolution of the connected car in North America over the next ten years and beyond.
