Compagnie Plastic Omnium today completed a €500 million 7-year 2.875% inaugural bond issue for European investors, without covenants or ratings. The net proceeds of the issue will be used to meet the Group’s general financing needs as part of its growth strategy and will strengthen the Group’s debt structure by extending the average maturity of its debt and diversifying its sources of financing. The bond issue is an integral part of the financing diversification strategy launched in 2012. Deutsche Bank, Natixis and The Royal Bank of Scotland acted as lead managers for the issue.
