- Nissan given prize in comprehensive comparison of the 16 largest automotive brands in Germany
- Sales advisors prove their expertise in independent mystery shopping study
- Best performing importer for volume and luxury brands
It’s official – some of Germany’s most competent sales advisors work in Nissan dealerships. The Japanese brand has won an award for excellence in automotive sales from Triple A (Automobilwoche Award Autohandel) and became best performing importer for volume and luxury brands. The decisive factor is primarily an excellent customer service when buying a new car.
“It’s a first: Nissan has won the Triple A for its excellent work in new car trade. This is the result of consistent expansion and improvements within the dealer network in Germany in recent years, “says Burkhard Riering, editor-in-chief from Automobilwoche.
The prestigious award is based on an extensive comparative test. Mystery shoppers tested nearly 50 different dealerships of the 16 major automobile brands in Germany. During the customer dialogue the sales advisors had to put their skills to the test. Crucial were the comprehensive car recommendation, the product experience at the car – starting from the presentation in the showroom until seat fitting – and the test drive. Also the reception of the customer, the specific offer and related negotiations, including possible financing options, as well as a follow-up contact were taken into account.
The tested Nissan dealerships proved their competences with flying colours. With 66.5 points within the total index the Japanese brand convinced the mystery shoppers and won an AAA in the category of volume brands.
“A satisfied customer is the ultimate reward, not just in Germany but also across Europe,” said Guillaume Cartier, senior vice president for sales and marketing, Nissan Europe. He continued: “The Triple A award is a welcome recognition of our efforts to create a retail network which matches the quality of our cars. But we won’t rest on our laurels, Customer satisfaction is a daily task and will keep working to make sure we are the best in the business.”
