1. Domestic Production
(1) December 2013
Mazda’s total domestic production volume in December 2013 increased 5.0% compared to December 2012 due to increased production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

CX-5: 24,165 units (up 27.9% year-on-year)
Mazda6 (Atenza): 10,093 units (down 25.6% year-on-year)

Mazda’s domestic production volume in the period from January through December 2013 increased 14.3% compared to the same period in 2012, due to increased production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

2. Overseas Production
(1) December 2013
Mazda’s total overseas production volume in December 2013 increased 27.8% compared to December 2012, reflecting increased production of passenger vehicles.

Mazda’s overseas production volume in the period from January through December 2013 decreased 13.4% compared to the same period in 2012, due to reduced production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

Mazda’s total domestic sales volume in December 2013 increased 30.3% compared to December 2012, due to increased sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles.
Mazda’s registered vehicle market share was 4.8% (up 0.5 points year-on-year), with a 2.3% share of the micro-mini segment (down 0.2 points year-on-year) and a 3.8% total market share (up 0.1 points year-on-year).

CX-5: 2,878 units (up 36.9% year-on-year)
Mazda6 (Atenza): 1,123 units (down 28.3% year-on-year)

Mazda’s total domestic sales volume in the period from January through December 2013 increased 4.5% compared to the same period in 2012, due to increased sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles.
Mazda’s registered vehicle market share was 5.2% (up 0.3 points year-on-year), with a 2.8% share of the micro-mini segment (up 0.1 points year-on-year) and a 4.2% total market share (up 0.1 points year-on-year).
