Mayank Agochiya, President, Ricardo India Private LTD, has been confirmed as a speaker in the Fuel Efficiency & Emissions reduction session on Day 2 – Passenger Car at Automotive World’s Megatrends India ’14, taking place on 26 February 2014.
Mayank, as President of Ricardo India, heads Ricardo’s operations in India. Ricardo is a global, world-class, multi-industry consultancy for engineering, technology, project innovation and strategy. With a century of delivering value, Ricardo employs over 1600 professional engineers, consultants and staff. Ricardo India is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ricardo plc.
Mayank relocated back to India in 2009 to head Ricardo India. He is responsible for Ricardo’s engineering and strategic consulting operations in India.
The foundations of Mayank’s career had been in product development (performance and emissions calibration) at a leading Indian OEM. After working at the OEM’s Japanese and Indian technical centres, Mayank gained his MBA from INSEAD. He joined Ricardo, post MBA, in its management consulting arm Ricardo Strategic Consulting. With Ricardo Strategic Consulting, he has worked in all the major global automotive hubs – China, Germany, India, Japan, Korea and USA – helping Ricardo’s clients on a number of business, market and product strategy projects, restructuring organisations and supporting activities of OEMs and private equity investors.
