Holden’s new 2016 Captiva will makes its public debut in Sydney today at the highly anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens fan and media event, joined by Hollywood superstar, Harrison Ford.
Taking place at the Sydney Opera House, Harrison Ford will host an exclusive Q&A with fans and media whilst the new Captiva will showcase the exciting, state-of-the-art hologram technology, developed by the creators of Star Wars’ newest recruit, BB-8.
Star Wars’ fans will also have the opportunity to win special “MY BB8” vehicle number plates as part of Holden’s social media competition by taking a photograph with the new Captiva and using the dedicated hashtag #CaptivaMission.
In addition to seeing one of the film’s greatest heroes, a select group of lucky fans will have the unique opportunity to see an exclusive extended trailer to the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens prior to the Q&A session.
Holden’s Executive Director of Marketing and Customer Experience, Geraldine Davys, said the collaboration between Holden and The Walt Disney Company Australia and New Zealand inspired fans to take an exciting and memorable journey this summer.

The new redesigned 2016 Holden Captiva on display sports a new exterior and interior as well as an infotainment system overhaul.
Captiva’s all-new infotainment system features the latest Holden MyLink equipped with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ phone projection technology, allowing customers to stay connected to the outside world whilst remaining focused on driving and looking after the family.
Set 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi, Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the highly anticipated next chapter in the popular movie franchise, releasing in cinemas on Thursday, 17 December, 2015.
