On June 6th, the Annual Shareholders and Board of Directors Meetings of CJSC GM-AVTOVAZ took place in Togliatti. During the meetings, the Board reviewed and discussed the joint venture’s operational performance, as well as the ongoing expansion and Next Generation Chevrolet NIVA projects.
One change to the JV’s Board membership was made during the meeting: a replacement for Oleg Lobanov, who recently resigned from OJSC “AVTOVAZ”.
The new Board is comprised of the following individuals:
On the part of OJSC “AVTOVAZ”:
- Bo Andersson, President, OJSC «AVTOVAZ»;
- Evgeny Belinin, Executive Vice President, Finance and Corporate Development, OJSC «AVTOVAZ»; and
- Hugues Francois Gerard Desmarchelier, Executive Vice President, Production and Technical Development, OJSC «AVTOVAZ».
On the part of General Motors:
- Andrew Dunstan, GM Russia and CIS President and Managing Director;
- Peter Thom, Vice-President, Manufacturing, GM Europe; and
- Gregory Hagy, Vice President, Corporate Development and Global Mergers & Acquisition, GM Europe.
The Board members thanked Oleg Lobanov for his work as the Board members, and his contribution to GM-AVTOVAZ’s performance and development.
