“Our strong product portfolio has helped us achieve an unprecedented 62 consecutive months of year over year sales growth,” said Dave Buckingham, Chief Operating Officer, Chrysler Canada. “Strong sales for Jeep brand, Ram brand, and minivans continue to be the key determinant in our success.”

The Chrysler 200 is the most affordable mid-size car in Canada, with best-in-class horsepower, the most technically advanced all-wheel-drive system in its class and more advanced safety features than any other vehicle in the category. In January 2015, there were 676 Chrysler 200 sedans sold, marking an increase of 7 per cent over 633 sold in January 2014. These results earn the Chrysler 200 a January sales record.
The Jeep Brand set a phenomenal all-time worldwide record in 2014 with sales exceeding one million units. 2014 represented the third consecutive year of all-time sales records for the brand. In Canada, Jeep brand sales were up more than 50 per cent for the 2014 calendar year. That strong momentum continues for the Jeep brand as 2015 gets underway with a January sales record of 4,003, compared with 3,507 sold in January of 2014. These results represent a 14 per cent increase. Leading the charge is Jeep Wrangler with 1,183 units sold in January 2015, up 46 per cent from 809 sold in January 2014. Next is Jeep Cherokee, with 1,403 copies sold in January 2015, up 7 per cent from 1,310 sold in January 2014. Both of these Jeep products set monthly sales records in January.
January 2015 represented the 26th consecutive month of year-over-year sales growth for the Ram brand with 6,517 sales, marking an increase of 10 per cent over 5,923 units sold in January 2014. These results represent a monthly sales record for the brand. Looking specifically at Ram pickup truck sales within the full Ram brand line-up, there were 5,810 sold in January 2015, compared with 5,433 trucks sold in January 2014. These results represent a 7 per cent increase and mark a January sales record.
The made-in Windsor Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country minivans remain favourites for Canadian consumers. With their flexible seating and storage capabilities, best-in-class horsepower and towing capabilities and more awards received than any other minivan on the planet, Dodge and Chrysler minivans continue to dominate the segment. In January 2015, 4,309 Dodge and Chrysler Minivans were sold, up 33 per cent from 3,242 sold in January 2014.
