On May 6, 2016, the launch ceremony of Chery Tiggo 3 was held in Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina. Hundreds of guests, including over 60 journalists, witnessed the grand occasion. This was another key model launched by Chery in Argentina after New QQ launched in late 2015. To date, Chery’s Tiggo, QQ and Fulwin series sold in Argentina have all switched to new-generation products, forming a more competitive product layout. Also, Chery is planning to introduce Tiggo 5, Arrizo 3 and other new models in the second half of 2016. The full product line will further enhance the brand competitiveness of Chery in Argentina.

So far Tiggo series has become Chery’s star series in Argentina, contributing nearly 50 percent of Chery’s total sales. With more trendy appearance, richer and more practical configuration, New Tiggo 3 launched by Chery will continue the image of Tiggo as a cost-effective family SUV series, and further expand its share in Argentina’s SUV segment.

Tiggo 3 was unanimously praised by journalists and consumers for its trendy appearance, rich and practical configuration. The launch of Chery’s new-generation series filled dealers with confidence in Chery’s future brand development.

Affected by factors such as local currency depreciation, the Argentinean auto market declined overall in 2016. In this context, Chery increased market investment and gradually achieved sales growth by marketing means such as policy support, advertising, sales promotion and test drive, laying a solid foundation for the marketing of Tiggo 3 and the future launch of new models.
