President of JSC AVTOVAZ Bo Andersson at Adam Smith Institute Forum talked about objectives of JSC AVTOVAZ on 2015, about challenges that the company faces and ways to solve them.

”What should we do this year, what should we focus on? We should launch LADA Vesta and LADA XRAY in time, with correct price and correct quality, – said Bo Andersson. – We should restructure our activity with suppliers. We should improve company management culture. We shall improve customer satisfaction. We shall continue to improve processes in engineering, purchasing and manufacturing, and and reduce costs. This year is difficult but good for AVTOVAZ and LADA. And we say – this is our year”.

The Head of AVTOVAZ talked about the history of creating new DNA of LADA style and about improving quality of mass production products – last year it was increased by 50%. This is the feedback from service network and directly from the customers. LADA Priora became one of the leaders in quality: the customers appreciated the face lift of the model implemented a year and a half ago; reconstruction of assembly line had its positive role.

The organizers of the Forun in their turn noted that AVTOVAZ made huge efforts for reconstruction and spent big investments (about 100 bln. rubles is invested in the line-up renewal). By results of the Forum AVTOVAZ was rewarded in the nomination “Investment project of the year” – for creation of LADA Vesta and LADA XRAY, and for establishment of new engine production facilities.
