On the occasion of its 25th anniversary, ACEA has launched its Manifesto for Clean, Safe and Smart Mobility.
ACEA’s silver anniversary presents a unique opportunity to reflect on experiences, build on the achievements made by Europe’s automobile industry, and, more importantly, to look ahead at how the industry can do even better tomorrow. And that is precisely what now has been visualised in ACEA’s Manifesto for Clean, Safe and Smart Mobility.
The richly-illustrated brochure presents an overview of what progress has been made to date, by looking back at the two past decades. It also identifies where we stand today, by explaining the environmental challenges and rising demand for transport. Finally, the Manifesto provides a glimpse of what tomorrow will bring, by exploring the potential of future mobility solutions.
The Manifesto also makes 10 key policy recommendations to ensure that the mobility of the future will reach new levels in terms of environmental performance, safety, as well as automation and connectivity.
