Winter storms continue to dampen US sales as consumers chose to stay home rather than brave the snow and ice in search of a new car. February's car and light truck market came in at around 1.2 million units, flat compared to 2013, with the Seasonally Adjusted Annual Rate (SAAR) falling short of expectations at 15.3 million units, according to AutoData figures.
