EV charging infrastructure is changing, and OEMs and suppliers are constantly looking to make the charging process more convenient for fleet operators and drivers. In collaboration with the Swedish Transport Administration, Volvo Group has announced it will study the potential for building electric roads. A 300- to 500-metre electric road is scheduled to be built for test operations in central Gothenburg during 2015.
