Volvo irons out the creases in CV comfort

A combination of individual front suspension and dynamic steering technology improves feel and comfort

Volvo Trucks recently announced that its individual front suspension, which was first serially-produced in Volvo’s FH heavy truck, can be specified in combination with Volvo Dynamic Steering (VDS) – a system that fits an electric motor on the steering gear to provide more power to the steering when needed and reduce disturbance caused by crosswinds and uneven road surfaces.

The combination of the two technologies can be ordered on the Volvo FH and Volvo FH16. Kristin Signert, Long Haul Segment Manager, Volvo Trucks, believes that it will produce a number of benefits for drivers.
