US sales spring back to life with signs of thaw

Signs of a spring thaw spurred US light vehicle sales last month. While continued growth is expected in April, weakness at the start of the year has dampened the full-year forecast.

Signs of a spring thaw spurred US light vehicle sales last month, with March showing the first growth this year. According to figures from Autodata, last month's sales rose nearly 6% to 1.53 million units.
