Tomorrow’s supply chain will be predictive, says DHL

DHL says manufacturers should embrace predictive analytics to help them stay relevant to buyers. By Xavier Boucherat

More digital data has been created in the last two years than has been since the dawn of computing. By 2020, this will have risen exponentially to 44 trillion gigabytes, up from 4.4 trillion in 2013. A new whitepaper from DHL, “The Predictive Enterprise”, suggests that OEMs could be sitting on potential goldmines which could let them peer into the future.
