Sommer’s abrupt departure raises corporate strategy questions for ZF

Not everyone on the board shared Sommer's vision for the company or agreed with his spending strategy. By Megan Lampinen

Stefan Sommer, the man that turned ZF into the world's second largest automotive supplier, is out. The official line is that his departure is "agreed by consensus" but German media report there was a conflict of personalities behind the scenes.
