Scania’s presence in India complete with SOP at its bus facility

A couple of years after entering the local bus and coach market, Scania has inaugurated its bus manufacturing plant in the country, located at the site of its existing truck facility near Bangalore

Just over two years ago, Scania announced its entry into India's bus and coach segment for the first time. Until that point in time, the company had restricted its offering in India to trucks. With its entry into India, Scania launched a new range of buses and coaches for intercity and tourist services, the Scania Metrolink range.
