Russia’s respite proves short lived

Sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles fell 38.5%, nearly double the rate of decline recorded in August

October puts an end to Russia's brief respite as the pace of decline once again picks up. Sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles (LCVs) fell 38.5% year-on-year to 129,958 units, according to data from the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AMC). That's nearly double the rate seen in August (19.4%) and puts the market back at the level of decline last seen in April.
