Kia’s sporty showing at Geneva reinforces brand positioning

Kia has grasped exactly where it wants to position itself - as the sporting division of the Hyundai Motor Group

Kia is finally ready to begin fulfilling its remit as the sporting division of the Hyundai Motor Group. While Kia’s styling has fulfilled that brief since the appointment of Peter Schreyer as Design Director (now President of Design for the group) in 2006, the products – with the exception of GT versions of the cee’d – have missed the target.
