To make cars affordable, OEMs have to compromise on certain features and trimmings, like high spec audio systems and handcrafted leather seats. However, certain technologies that were previously exclusive to luxury high-end vehicles are now finding their way into the more affordable segments. Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) are a primary example, and Renault hopes to lead the way.
