PSA points to Q1 progress to silence naysayers

PSA says it is not only maintaining momentum, but it is actually accelerating progress on its Back in the Race plan this year

For those naysayers last year that said PSA Peugeot Citroen lacked momentum, management is hoping Q1 results will make them eat their words. Group revenues in the January-March period this year rose 4.6% year-on-year to €13.674bn (US$16.3bn), with Automotive Division revenues alone (excluding the contribution of Chinese joint ventures) up slightly to €8.950bn. While unit volumes contracted 1.9%, revenues from new vehicles rose 1.1%.
